Enrolment

A place on a course is confirmed when we have received your enrolment details and the agreed fee, and have written to confirm your batch. We may decline or defer an enrolment where a course is full, where a batch does not reach viable numbers, or where the prerequisites for an advanced course are not met. In the last case we will tell you plainly and recommend where to start instead.

Fees, and what is not included

Course fees are quoted individually because they depend on the track, the batch format and whether a certification voucher is bundled. The quotation you receive is the complete training fee.

Charged separately, and quoted to you before you enrol:

• EC-Council certification exam vouchers (CEH, CSA, CPENT, CHFI, C|CT), which are priced by EC-Council and not by us.
• Exam retake fees, where applicable.
• Extension of lab access beyond the standard period included with your course.

We will not add charges that were not disclosed in your quotation.

Certification exams

EC-Council sets exam formats, pricing, eligibility and pass marks, and may change them. We prepare you for the exam and can supply vouchers, but we neither administer the exams nor influence their outcome. Passing a certification exam is not guaranteed by completing a course.

Cancellation and refunds

We publish our refund terms here rather than burying them in an agreement you see only after paying. Where you withdraw from a course, the refund depends on how much of it has been delivered:

• More than 7 days before your batch starts: full refund of the course fee.
• Within 7 days of the start date, up to and including the first session: 90% of the course fee. The 10% retained covers batch scheduling and materials already prepared for you.
• After the first session, until 20% of the course hours have been delivered: 50% of the course fee.
• After 20% of the course hours have been delivered: no refund is payable.

Percentages are calculated against the total scheduled hours of your course, not against elapsed calendar time. For a 40-hour course, 20% is 8 hours; for the 120-hour programme it is 24 hours.

Certification exam vouchers are non-refundable once issued. EC-Council assigns a voucher to you individually and we cannot return it, so if you have asked us to supply one, its cost is excluded from any refund calculated above. We will tell you this again at the point you order one.

You may transfer to a later batch once, free of charge, if you give us at least 7 days notice before your batch begins. A transfer requested after that is treated as a withdrawal under the scale above.

If we cancel or reschedule a batch, you may transfer to the next available batch or take a full refund of fees paid for that course, whichever you prefer. That choice is yours, not ours.

To request a refund, write to sales@vistramind.com stating your name, course and batch. We will confirm the amount within 5 working days and pay it to the original payment method within 14 working days of that confirmation.

Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

Code of conduct and lawful use

This is the section that matters most on a cyber security course. Our training covers offensive security techniques, and you agree that:

• You will use the techniques taught only against systems you own or have written authorisation to test.
• You will confine all practical exercises to the lab environments we provide.
• You will not use lab infrastructure to attack third-party systems, to host or distribute malicious code, or for any unlawful purpose.
• You understand that unauthorised access to a computer system is an offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and that we will cooperate fully with any lawful investigation.

Breach of this section is grounds for immediate removal from a course without refund, and where appropriate we will report it.

Course materials

Course materials, lab guides and recordings remain the intellectual property of Vistra Mind Innovation LLP or its licensors. They are provided for your personal learning and may not be copied, resold, published or shared with anyone who is not enrolled. Some third-party materials are subject to the licensor's own terms, which we will tell you about where they apply.

Placement assistance

We provide resume review, interview preparation and introductions to hiring opportunities where we have them. We want to be unambiguous about this: we do not guarantee employment, a salary level, or a specific number of interviews. No training provider can honestly promise a job, and any that does should be asked to put the definition in writing.

Attendance and lab access

Lab environments are provided for the duration stated with your course and are reset periodically. Please save any work you want to keep. We aim to keep labs continuously available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, as they depend on third-party infrastructure.

Website content

We take care to keep course details, syllabuses and certification information accurate, but exam specifications and third-party pricing change. Nothing on this website forms a binding offer; your quotation and enrolment confirmation do. Guides published in our resources section are general information and not professional advice for your specific situation.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a course is limited to the fees you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of employment opportunity or earnings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before commencing proceedings, please raise the issue with us directly; most problems are resolved by a conversation.
