We don't just teach cyber security

Vistra Mind Innovation LLP delivers industry-aligned cyber security training in Bangalore, built on the belief that this discipline is mastered through practice, exposure and guided execution. Not through theory alone. We are certified to ISO/IEC 27701:2025 and ISO 9001:2015, and we publish both certificate numbers so you can verify them.

Our approach

Practice, exposure, guided execution

Most cyber security training fails in a predictable way. It teaches vocabulary rather than judgement, produces learners who can define an attack but not recognise one, and leaves the hardest part, deciding what to do with ambiguous evidence at speed, entirely untaught.

We built Vistramind around the opposite premise. Roughly half of every programme is lab work. Learners run reconnaissance against live targets, read raw logs, triage alert queues that contain far more noise than signal, and respond to incidents under time pressure. The scenarios are drawn from real breach patterns in financial services and healthcare, because those are the environments our instructors work in.

Who teaches here

Our instruction comes from people currently working in security, not from full-time trainers. That matters more than it might sound. A trainer who has passed a certification can teach the syllabus; a practitioner who has run an incident can teach you what the syllabus omits, the political constraints, the incomplete evidence, the decisions made with imperfect information at three in the morning. Who we train

Two groups, with different needs. Students and early-career candidates who need a structured entry into the field and evidence they can discuss in interviews. And working professionals making a career change into cyber security from IT support, testing, networking, development, audit or entirely non-technical roles, who need the transition to fit around a full-time job.

What we will not tell you

We do not promise guaranteed placement, and we are direct with prospective learners when we think a course is the wrong fit for their current level. A counselling call that ends with "you are not ready for CPENT yet, start here instead" is a better outcome for everyone than an enrolment that wastes your money and our lab time.

Sagar works 24×7 SOC monitoring and incident response for a UK-based enterprise client on Microsoft Sentinel, and runs vulnerability assessment and penetration testing engagements for global enterprise clients. He is currently engaged in advanced web application, API and network-layer penetration testing at Ericsson.

He has been teaching since 2023 and has led more than six cohorts through cyber security and ethical hacking programmes. In 2024 he delivered cyber security instruction to Indian Army officers from the Electronics and Mechanical Engineers corps, building the curriculum modules himself. Earlier he was a cyber security research intern at the Data Security Council of India's Centre of Excellence, working on digital forensics, malware analysis and dark web OSINT, and volunteered on cyber crime prevention with the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

Vartul has spent over eighteen years in cyber security, much of it as a CTO-level security leader building and securing financial products. He is the founder of ZeroShield, an AI-security infrastructure platform incubated at IIT Kanpur and part of the NVIDIA Inception Program, and of CyberUltron Consulting.

Before founding those companies he was Lead Security Engineer at KreditBee, Lead Consultant at Wipro, Senior Security Analyst and Manager at Landmark Group, and a Level 3 penetration testing engineer at Juniper Networks, with earlier security engineering roles at Ericsson and Sapient. He is the author of three security books, Bounty Security Hacks, API Security Hacking, and Cyber Security for CISO, CIO and CTO, and has been recognised in the security Hall of Fame by Microsoft four times, as well as by Intel, PayPal, Netflix, Samsung and Seagate.
